Ideal for…

• A gourmet stay: Michelin-starred restaurants such as the Père Bise (a 7-minute walk) or La Ferme, up on the Col de la Forclaz, have made Talloires famous, as have the abbey and its many other restaurants.
• Families and friends: toys for all ages (Lego, Playmobil, board games, Nintendo Switch, books and comics). Babies are welcome: baby cot, changing table and high chairs.
• Remote work: very high-speed fibre connection, with a desk, a screen and a keyboard available.
• Winter: the Aravis resorts (La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand) 25 minutes away, Megève 45 minutes away; when snow is plentiful, 3 slopes above Talloires, a 10-minute drive away. In mid-January, watch or take part in the Gla-Gla Race, the biggest paddleboard race on the lake, starting from Talloires.
• Spring and summer: the beaches, the lake and every water activity; plancha, lunches and dinners on the terrace; many hikes from the apartment; a tandem paragliding flight from the Col de la Forclaz, Europe’s finest spot.
• Sport: road cycling and mountain biking from the house; the Talloires tennis club a 5-minute walk away (booking on request); hikes for all levels; water skiing, diving and every water sport on the lake.
• Electric cars: a charger awaits you in the secure garage, very handy on arrival, during your stay and before you leave.
• Family celebrations (Easter, Christmas): subject to availability, a second apartment with a garden and lake view, a 4-minute walk away, can be added (up to 6 extra beds).
