General Rental Terms and Conditions
1. Purpose
These general terms and conditions govern the booking and rental of holiday accommodations offered on this site. By booking a property, the guest fully accepts these terms and conditions.
2. Booking and Payment
The booking becomes final after confirmation and payment according to the indicated terms (online payment, deposit or full payment depending on the case). If payment is not made within the required time, the booking may be cancelled.
3. Cancellation and Refund
Cancellation by the guest:
• More than 30 days before arrival → full refund of the deposit.
- Between 7 and 30 days before arrival → 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before arrival → no refund.
- Cancellation by the host: full refund to the guest.
4. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in from 5:00 PM
- Check-out before 10:00 AM
Any unauthorised overstay may be charged as an additional night.
5. Use of the Premises
The accommodation is intended for the maximum number of guests indicated in the listing.
It is forbidden to organise undeclared parties, smoke indoors, or bring animals (unless agreed in writing).
The guest agrees to respect the neighbourhood and the house rules.
6. Security Deposit and Liability
A security deposit of [amount] € may be required. It will be refunded after departure, subject to a satisfactory inspection of the premises.
The guest is responsible for any damage caused during their stay. The host declines all liability in case of loss, theft, or accident involving the guest’s personal belongings.
7. Insurance and Safety
The guest must hold liability insurance covering any damages that may occur during their stay. The accommodation complies with current local safety standards.
8. Personal Data
The information collected during booking is used solely for managing the stay. It is neither sold nor shared with third parties without consent.
9. Force Majeure
In the event of exceptional circumstances (natural disaster, strike, pandemic, etc.), the booking may be cancelled without compensation other than the refund of amounts already paid.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the law of [France / Portugal / other].
In case of dispute, both parties agree to seek an amicable solution before any legal action.
