Château Montana stretches over about 30 hectares in Banyuls-dels-Aspres, in the southern Pyrénées-Orientales. Bathed in sunshine and swept by the tramontane wind, its terroir offers ideal conditions for producing expressive, beautifully balanced wines. The estate’s cuvées are recognised under several appellations: Côtes du Roussillon Villages les Aspres, Côtes du Roussillon and Côtes Catalanes.

A rich and diverse palette of grape varieties

The estate cultivates a wide range of Mediterranean grape varieties: Syrah, Grenache Noir, Blanc and Gris, Carignan, Mourvèdre, along with complementary varieties such as Merlot and Cinsault. This diversity gives Château Montana wines an expansive, nuanced aromatic profile, where freshness, power and elegance come together in every glass.

Sustainable, respectful viticulture

Committed to sustainable viticulture, the estate is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (High Environmental Value) and has been in organic conversion since 2023. The winegrowers favour low yields and traditional methods to preserve biodiversity and the natural balance of the soils. Each cuvée is crafted with meticulous care, in harmony with the rhythms of the vine and the character of the terroir.

An authentic wine tourism experience

Château Montana offers guided tours and tutored tastings at the heart of the estate. The experience includes a walk through the vineyard, a visit to the wine museum and the tasting of signature cuvées: Silencio, L’Astre Blanc, Le Rouge Éternel and exceptional vins doux naturels.

The site is easy to access, offers free parking and welcomes visitors by appointment in a peaceful, welcoming setting, between sea and mountains.
