Clos de Paulilles is an iconic wine estate on the Côte Vermeille, nestled in the Baie de Paulilles between Collioure and Banyuls-sur-Mer, in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Taken over in 2012 by Maison Cazes, the vineyard is internationally renowned for the quality of its wines and the spectacular beauty of its natural setting, classified as a “Grand Site de France”.

An exceptional terroir facing the Mediterranean The estate stretches over 90 hectares of rolling hills and terraced schist, with around 65–72 hectares planted with vines overlooking the Mediterranean. The schist soils, abundant sunshine and maritime influence create ideal conditions for Mediterranean grape varieties to express themselves fully, particularly Grenache Noir, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache Blanc. The vineyards are farmed organically and certified HVE3, reflecting a strong commitment to the environment and sustainable viticulture.

Distinctive, characterful wines Clos de Paulilles produces a complete range of wines under the Collioure, Banyuls and Banyuls Grand Cru appellations:

    • Red wines: powerful and structured, with notes of dark fruit, spice and liquorice.
    • White wines: fresh and mineral, with aromas of white flowers and exotic fruit.
    • Rosés: elegant and fruity, perfect for summer aperitifs by the sea.
    • Vins doux naturels: mainly from Grenache, rich in flavours of candied fruit, honey and dried fruit.

These wines are regularly awarded medals at national and international competitions, highlighting the expertise of the estate and the exceptional quality of its terroir.
